After word spread through the community about the waiting home, it became so much in demand that the team added bunk beds. Women receive free food and a safe and secure place to sleep.

The Village des Mamans hosts up to 70 women with at-risk pregnancies, all of them considered by the maternity team to be potential complex deliveries.
